Luke Stevenson is an experienced and sought after performer, specialising in vocal and a cappella styles. He has toured internationally with vocal band Suade and is recognised as one of Australia’s leading a cappella performers. His past groups include Blue Notion, In Transition, Switch, Suade and The Mellow Diners. Luke is a versatile performer, being proficient in most musical styles and genres. His formal training in both Classical, Folk/World Music and Jazz along with his copious experience in contemporary pop and rock allows Luke to effortlessly adapt to different performance environments and requests.

Luke has performed in a wide range of festivals and for a host of corporate events. A selection of the events Luke has been a feature artist at include; Festival of Voices, Aus Aca Festival and Competition, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Melbourne Cabaret Festival, Perth Arts Festival, Yackandandah Folk Festival, Myeong Dong Street Festival (Korea), Mount Beauty Folk Festival, Singapore International A Cappella Festival, and Get Vocal Festival.

Luke is also the host and co-organiser of the successful A Cappella Madness showcase concert series. This lively event has been running since 2014 and presents sell out showcases of Melbourne’s most exciting vocal groups. Hosted at regular intervals throughout the year, and showcasing fantastic performances from groups such as Suade, Ginger and Tonic, Drums of War, The Mellow Diners and On Church Street, A Cappella Madness is a popular and much anticipated event on the Melbournian a cappella calendar.
