Luke StevensonLuke Stevenson is a musician, composer and music educator from Melbourne, Australia. He has won multiple national awards, toured internationally with his ensembles, and conducted his own commissioned works for a number of ensembles, choirs and orchestras around Australia. Luke is a flexible performer and composer, having garnered experience in a wide range of styles including classical, jazz, pop, rock and funk. He is widely sought as an arranger, composer, performer, and educator, where he has been successful in implementing singing and arranging programs in schools around Australia and overseas. Recently Luke has been focused on developing a catalogue of new arrangements, producing scores and learning tracks for choirs and ensembles around Australia. His work on “As Long As You Love Me” with his band Switch garnered him multiple awards from Aus Aca PLAY and CASA, and the track was selected for the Voices Only compilation CD in 2014. His barbershop quartet The Mellow Diners placed 4th at the Harmony Goldrush national barbershop competition in late 2015, and will represent the country at the 2016 International Barbershop Competition in Nashville. In 2016 Luke will be relocating to London to pursue further opportunities and continue to perform and engage as part of the international music community.
